1. On my mums side we're distantly (very distantly) related to Anne Boleyn and our ancestors owned Kilkenny Castle. Royalty right here haha! I always pretend that we should be owning it now and I could be a real life princess (not really but hey a girl can dream)
2. I've been wearing glasses since I was six and only recently got contacts to wear on nights out or just random days I don't feel like wearing glasses! People always say I suit glasses though and I think I do too. Thankfully, I'm blind as a bat without them!
3. I used to be such a fussy eater as a child. When I was about 5 I refused to eat bananas for no reason at all until I tried them when I was about 9 or 10 (maybe older) and loved them! Strange child. This also happened with garlic as I've only started to love garlic everything in recent years but I'm definitely making up for it now. I'm still quite picky, I don't eat a lot of vegetables and I'm not one to try new foods as much as I love food I like to stick to what I know I like.
4. Up until I was 7 we had a boxer dog named Fred. My mum and dad had him from before me and my sister were born and I love looking back at old pictures and seeing him 'play' with the two of us as babies. He died of a stomach tumour sob, but that tends to run in boxer dogs apparently. We haven't got a pet dog since because Fred was literally like a brother to us, sad but true.
This is a tad bit late, due to me being busy with sorting out college, seeing family and just generally being lazy but hey better late than never, right?
The Heat - I recently watched this and it is brilliant. I love Mellissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock so putting them in a film together was a match made in movie heaven for me. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do (I'm pretty sure there are decent copies online shh)
Breaking Bad - This needs no explanation as anyone who is anyone is watching Breaking Bad lately. If you aren't where have you been?! Its over next week, so I honestly don't know what I'll do without it. It is one of the best TV shows I've ever watched. I won't post any spoilers or talk about it any more because I could really dedicate this whole post to it. Favourite TV show ever.
Pretty Little Liars - PLL has always been a TV show I love and hate to watch. They're dragging it out a lot lately and never quite giving us the answers we need or want, along with dropped story lines it can get a bit frustrating to watch at times. I still watch it religiously though. I hope we'll get some answers in the Halloween episode after the big reveal (which I loved) in the Summer Finale.
Orange is the New Black - I'm cheating a little on this one as I still have one more episode to watch as I write this but this TV show definitely deserves all the online hype is gotten. Its based on a true story which makes it even more interesting to watch. I already cannot wait for season two to start!
Music:
The 1975 - I've a funny feeling these are going to be everywhere in the next year or so. Their new self-titled album is phenomenal and I usually don't say that about albums on their first listen. I've been listening to all of their older EP's all month and its basically all I've been listening to if I'm honest! If you haven't given them a listen go now, you wont regret it!
The 1975 - Sex
Food & Other things:
Nutella and crusty bread
Coco pops / cereal at night time
Wispa chocolate (Are you noticing a chocolate theme here because I am)
Noticing the nights gradually getting shorter
Looking forward to autumn colours, wearing jumpers again and drinking hot chocolate every morning
Let me know what your favourites of the month were! What have you been loving lately?
